INFO and Journal Prompt:
Good morning on this fine Christmas Eve…I still celebrate this delicious holiday-
The more celebrations the better I say!
For this week, we are going to take it a bit easy. There WILL be a lesson on Wednesday,
but it will not have much if any work. This will allow everyone to relax with family,
and also to continue their sacred space work! I have not seen many altar pictures as yet
and I am so looking forward to seeing everyone’s interpretations!! Post those!! 🙂
There also will be some journal prompts towards the end of the week, just a reminder that
these are an option and if you can’t or just aren’t feeling the topic then it is, of course,
fine to not do them.
I am thinking in the New Year that we may start a few weekend mini lessons for those who
are chomping at the bit. Maybe start with some herbs and crystals and even some divination…
why not? Again you can do all or some or even none of those lessons! I am going to try and
see about getting our “work space groups” into full swing and getting us some things that
we can really start doing!
For the journal prompt for today, I am suggesting that we all think about taking a step back.
Holidays can be hectic, sometimes downright stressful- physically, financially and spiritually.
So much to do and it’s hard to stay centered and relaxed.
What kinds of things can you do to put some balance into your life during the hectic times?
Do have some rituals of ways of stopping and detaching yourself from the chaos? Do you ask the Divine for help?
For a little treat, I will offer you a little something that hopefully everyone will be able to do
A PEACE BATH
( Something to have to help relax during this busy season )
Draw a bath for yourself. Pour a tablespoon or so of milk into a large bowl of water and say:
‘Water ripples on the breeze…’
… Add several rose petals (fresh or dried) to the bowl of water and milk.Say:
‘Thistledown flies through the air…’
Stir the water, milk, and rose petals with the index finger of your right hand. Say:
‘Silent as the mighty seas…’
Gently pour the mixture that you have created into the bath. Say:
‘Peaceful here without a care.’
Step in. Bathe for as long as you wish.Let the water absorb negative thoughts and worries.
Allow yourself a few moments of healing peace.
Many blessings to you all!
